Twilight had set in and the guardians and senshi had gathered together to begin to get ready to teleport to their home planet. She knew that she had to be patient, but her partner was on Crystalia waiting to be woken from her sleep. She couldn't be as patient as she thought she could be. Pyrite was waiting for them. "I know you're impatient Soul." Galaxy said as he sat beside her legs. "I can't help it Galaxy. She could be in danger. What if..." "You are talking about Pyrite. Death cannot be killed easily. You know this." He reminded her. "I know. I am worried Galaxy. You know that I cannot help it." "I know it is hard Soul, but you have to wait, just like the rest of us." "Soul, are you ready?" Terra questioned her. "More than ever Terra." She replied. She joined her friends and the senshi in a circle then heard Terra speak. "Concentrate on Crystalia guardians." Terra told them. A glowing white light formed around them as their powers merged with each other. Kari could see the planet in the mind as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. They were going to retrieve their leader. It wouldn't be long before Death was brought out of cryogenic stasis. * * * * * * * * * Kari opened her eyes to reveal the now dilapidated planet of Crystalia. They were in the remains of Crystal City. "This must have been a beautiful city in its time." Sailor Venus commented. "It was." Terra responded. "Where do you think she is located?" Sailor Moon asked the guardians. "When you think of cryogenic stasis Sailor Moon, what do you think of?" Blizzard asked sarcastically. "Blizzard! Stop being rude." Terra chided. "She's most likely located in Blizzard's domain. However, we have to check the innermost parts of the city to be sure." "Split up?" Sailor Jupiter questioned them. "Definitely." Terra agreed. "Kari, why don't you, Blizzard, Mercury, and Pluto head to Blizzard domain." She suggested. "Right." Kari replied. "We'll follow once we have made sure that the area is clear. Oh switch on your communicators." Terra told them as she touched her emerald ear ring. A microphone and ear piece appeared as the others repeated her action. "Alright, lets go." * * * * * * * * * Kari found herself staring at the desolated remains of Blizzard domain. Blizzard led the way through the broken columns and protuding ice. They had to make their ice skates appear on their feet for fear of slipping. "We are nearing the center of the section of Crystal city that belonged to the Blizzard domain." Blizzard announced to them. "Do you think we will find her?" Kari questioned her. Blizzard stopped in her tracks. "Kari! How dare you say that! How dare you even suggest it! We will find her." She then flipped on her visor. She searched the planet for any sign of life. "If we had just done this in the first place." She held down a button on her microphone. "Eva! I've found her. She's in the center of the city. Meet us there. Follow me." Kari and the other senshi followed Blizzard as she led them away from her domain and towards the inner parts of Crystal City. Kari was anxious to find her partner and leader of their group. She heard a loud voice boom around them, "My, my. What pretty girls. Don't you know it's dangerous out here?" A man with long blonde hair appeared and held a thin rapier in his hand and a pink Crystalian rose in one hand. Kari recognized it as the same rose that Pyrite had given her so long ago. "Give that back! That's mine!" "Are you missing your leader princess?" "Who the hell are you?" Blizzard questioned roughly. "My name is Aki and I was sent to keep you from retrieving your leader." He introduced himself. "No one is going to stop us!" Blizzard shouted as she pointed her trident at him and prepared to attack. "I'm afraid I can't let you awaken her, but try to get to her. This will be entertaining in the least." Aki said as he disappeared in a whirl of dust. "Eva. We got a problem." Blizzard said to her microphone. * * * * * * * * * "So do we." Eva answered back as she used her sword to deflect the poison quills that Ruka was throwing. "Why did I send our defensive guardians off?" She asked herself. Eva stood back and cried out, "Lightning Punch!" She punched the ground and sent a shockwave of lightning towards Ruka. "You sent Blizzard away, why?!" Rare asked Eva. "I was thinking they would find Pyrite before they would. And besides, you can't get along with Kari to save your life." Eva returned with a soft laugh. "Hey pay attention!" Ruka shouted at the two guardians. "Go on and join your friends. We'll take care of this idiot!" Uranus shouted. "Thanks Uranus!" Eva shouted then grabbed Rare and left to find their leader. * * * * * * * * * The four arrived in the center of the city to find a grey light shooting straight upwards to the darkened sky. "That has to be her!" Kari shouted as she made her way to the light. "Wait Kari! You have to be careful!" Terra shouted as they ran after her. "Come back!" Blizzard yelled at the guardian. Kari skidded to a stop as she saw Aki stare at her and her friends. Above them, floating in a stream of grey light, was the guardian of Death. Her body suspended in the air as if she was a puppet on strings. "Dear Guardians, you won't retrieve her. She is staying there for eternity." Katie glared at him then shouted, "You will not have her!" Kari pulled out her two discs and hooked them together then shouted, "Soul Disc Chain!" The two discs became a chain of glowing indigo light. It wrapped around Aki's arm and she pulled hard, making him stumble and fall to the side. "You brat!" He shouted at her. "Thunder Punch!" Eva yelled then punched the ground and sent a shockwave of lightning towards him. "You won't dare hurt her!" Kari withdrew her chain and watched as the chain became two discs again. She threw them at Aki as she watched Rare create a red crystal in her hands and shout, "Fire Burst!" Aki stepped backwards knowing well that he was overpowered by a bunch of guardians. "I warn you Guardians that you will lose to Lady Mera. If you reawaken your leader she will die at Lady Mera's hands. Better leave her where she is." Kari shrieked, "You don't know Death-sama!" "For once I agree with you Soul! You don't know our leader!" Rare shouted at their enemy. "She can kill any enemy and she does it so elegantly too." Kari nodded in agreement, "Right! She would never lose to Mera." "Death is the most powerful of us all. So you need to rethink your strategy." Eva put in. Aki narrowed his eyes at the girls. "You will lose you foolish girls!" He then surged forward and slashed his rapier at Kari. Eva intervened before he could get to her, catching his sword with her own. "Leave her alone!" Eva shouted as she pushed him back. Kari hurried past Eva and Aki and rushed to where the beam of grey light shot up. She looked up to see Pyrite floating in the air. She then turned around as she heard Eva grunt and shout "Terra Lightning Blast!" The air filled with crackling noises as Eva battled on with Aki. She then heard Katie shout, "Icicle Blast!" as a thousand shards of ice filled the air. "I'll get you little girls!" Aki shouted as he pointed his rapier at them. Thousands of flower petals filled the air before he disappeared. Eva panted softly then said, "We'll get him. In the meantime, we need to retrieve Pyrite." The other girls nodded as they walked up towards the beam of light. * * * * * * * * * When Usagi and the other senshi finally found the four guardians they saw that they were gathered around a beam of grey light. A figure of a girl was floating in the air as they held out their arms and started to shout, "Soul Crystal Power!", "Terra Crystal Power!", "Blizzard Crystal Power!", and finally "Flare Crystal Power!" Lights of red, green, purple, and light blue shot in the air then glowed white. The grey light disappeared and the figure slowly drifted down towards the ground. She saw Sailor Crystal Soul fall to her knees and hold out her arms as if to catch the last guardian. She heard the indigo-haired guardian let out a little cry of joy. "Death-sama!" She cried out as the older guardian finally came to rest in the younger guardian's lap. Kari held the older one to her as she heard a soft groan from Sailor Crystal Death. At last the long awaited return of Sailor Crystal Death was upon them. The guardian opened her eyes and question her friends, "What happened?" Next episode: Death Remembers
