Biography
Sailor Crystal Death was born as Pyrite, Princess of Death Domain, to Genga (her mother). Her father was a royal consort and did not want to be involved with her life because of her destiny. She is the oldest of the Sailor Mistics and therefore is the leader as well. Pyrite finds herself alone most of the time. It wasn't until Kari turned 11 that she really sought someone to be with.
When the other guardians came of age to fight, it was Pyrite who trained them. At 21 she and Kari became more than friends and decided to become engaged. This is tricky because Pyrite and Kari's mothers' were lovers, so it was an almost incestuous relationship...ALMOST! However, before they could marry, Crystalia was attacked and Pyrite used her energy to send her friends to Earth. She stayed on Crystalia in cryogenic stasis till her friends woke her up.
When she finally woke up, Pyrite resumed her position as leader and reunites with her cousins from the Earth's Solar System. During the story, Pyrite is the focus of many attacks before they defeat Mera. Eventually, after the story, Kari and Pyrite do get married.
Please see notes.
Attacks
Crystal Death Power!
This is Pyrite's transformation phrase. She holds her hand up in the air and cries out "Crystal Death Power!" A skull symbol appears in her hand and several grey ribbons appear from the skull symbol. After the ribbons wrap around her body and form her suit, she closes her eyes and turns on her back and her weapon, the scythe, rises slowly from her chest. There is a bright flash of light then Pyrite opens her eyes and grabs her scythe then strikes her pose and a skull appears in the background.
Death Reborn!
This is only used once in the entire series. In the prologue to the story, Life and Death, Sailor Crystal Death uses this to save everyone on her beloved planet Crystalia. The only drawback is that it drains her powers. She could die if she is not careful.
Death Scythe Slash
Sailor Crystal Death grips her scythe then swings the blade towards her enemies. Several blades of black energy are sent towards her enemy, completely destroying them.
Skull Illusion
Sailor Crystal Death holds her arms to the side and an illusion of a giant skull forms over her. This frightens her enemies long enough for her to attack them.
Death and Soul Crystal Shine!
Sailor Crystal Death and Sailor Crystal Soul have their backs to each other as they join hands and shout 'Death and Soul Crystal Shine!' Two beams, one black and one purple, start to circle them. Death frees her right hand while Soul frees her left. A crystal starts to form in both hands as a bright beam shoots from it. The beam heals whoever has been hurt or is evil and wants to become good.
