The Queens of Crystalia
Although the queens are dead in the story, they still play an integral part to understanding the past. Eventually, the queens will have their own stories as well. Below are the names of the queens and a basic description.
Genga: Genga is Pyrite's mother and Queen of the Death Domain. She is the head of the five queens and deals with all of the planet's problems. Her partner is Versala who is the ruler of Soul domain. She and Versala fall in love and pass their love onto Pyrite and Kari. Genga was the original Sailor Crystal Death but passed her position onto her daughter after she was born. She died when she gave her power to her daughter to save the planet's population.
Versala: Versala is Kari's mother and the Queen of Soul Domain. She is the second to Genga and is Genga's lover. She was the original Sailor Crystal Soul, but gave up her position to her daughter after she was born. She has an outstanding rivalry with Vesta who is Rare's mother. She died after giving her power to Pyrite to save the planet.
Vesta: Vesta is Rare's mother and the Queen of Flare Domain. She has a flirty personality and an arrogant side as well, which she passed to her daughter. She fell in love with Genga but she felt cheated when Genga chose Versala over her. Vesta was the original Sailor Crystal Flare, but passed her powers to her daughter after she was born. She died after giving her power to Pyrite to save the planet.
Reia: Reia is Eva's mother and the Queen of Terra Domain. She is a very grounded person and is a good counterpart to her best friend, Vesta. She was the original Sailor Crystal Terra, but passed her powers to her daughter. She died after giving her power to Pyrite to save the planet.
Cryona: Cryona is Katie's mother and the Queen of Blizzard Domain. She is considered one of the coldest queen's in personality. She feels she only owes her friendship to Genga, which is a trait she passed to Katie. She was the original Sailor Crystal Blizzard but passed her powers onto Katie after she was born. She died after giving her power to Pyrite to save the planet.
