Kari cradled the Pink Crystalian Rose to her chest. Her Death-sama had given it to her before she left for the outpost of the planet. It seemed strange that now she and Pyrite were to be married. After all; Versala, her mother, and Genga, Pyrite’s mother had eventually bound themselves to one another.

She was excited. More excited than the day she had become a senshi. It was her dream to marry Pyrite and in the end she would. Kari looked out to the gardens. The roses and lilies were in bloom, filling the air with sweet smells. She wanted to do something special for Death-sama, but she did not know what.

Her heart was filled with nothing but love at this point and excitation coursed through her veins. When her mother had found out about their engagement she had told her that they were going to go shopping for a special dress for the occasion. ‘Come back to me Death-sama. We will get married soon.’

Meanwhile, Pyrite paced the floor anxiously as she watched for any signs of evil on the horizon. She sighed to herself, what was the use in doing so? No one attacked Crystalia. “Sailor Crystal Death!” A voice shouted up at her.

“Aye! What is it?!”

“There is a report of something heading this way. We think it is evil.”

Pyrite raised an eyebrow, “Well! What are you waiting for?! Raise the alarm for the other guardians! Get my defensive senshi down here now!”

“Yes mam!”

This could not be happening, Pyrite reflected, not here, not now. She would see to it that Kari would be her mate that much she was certain.

Kari heard the alarm and knew that something had happened. ‘Death-sama!’ She screamed in her mind. She placed her flowers on the bed then started to run towards the door when it flew open. “Kari! Come on!” Eva cried out while Kari joined her to help her betrothed. ‘Oh Death-sama! Be safe!’
